no one reads this blog, so I feel like I can ramble on about whatever I want.
So, just some random thoughts.
My sister performed as a Jr. Dart cheerleader at a game last night and I went to see it. It's always weird stepping back into Davis High--it seems almost surreal that I was walking those halls four ish years ago and that I've been in college longer than I was in high school. So much has changed. I'm not even the same person I was back then...it's weird how stuff like that makes you realize it.
I went to my capstone class and holy crap, I'm a little scared. It's going to be a lot of work and I have to decide on if I'm going to present at the student conference or do the final paper at the end. I love public speaking and presenting, but for some reason I don't want to present before the ling kids. Weird!
I have this professor in CSD who has a vocal fold disorder and he's really hard to hear. Well, he's presenting later in the semester in my capstone class. My professor for capstone was like, "You know him!," and in my mind I'm thinking, "Yes I do. Greeeaaaatt, I get to hear from him three times that week. Awesome." haha
No classes on Monday, woo hoo :) Give me time to catch up on reading.
Remember my being bold post? (probably not because no one reads this) Yeah...I pretty much don't think I have to worry about trying to progress towards that later in the semester anymore. I didn't get a chance to catch up with the person it involved. I'm kinda bummed, but it's ok. Actions speak louder than words.
School dilemma... I have one last 3000 level elective class to take, which I was going to do this semester, but none sounded interesting, but a 5000 level class did, but now I found out that my LSA credits will count for 3000 and not 5000 like they're supposed to...so I don't really need that class anymore, but it's really interesting and I think it will help, because I didn't like one of my other 5000-level classes and didn't do so well in it. {run-on sentence, sorry!} so it's a gpa booster :) I'm meeting with my adviser on Tuesday and then I can decide what to do!
It's official, my brain has gotten back into school mode.
I also want to do a day of the blog challenge I've been doing, but I'm not going in order.
8. if you could have any pet, what would it be?
9. put your ipod on shuffle and write 10 songs that pop up.
8. I would have a yellow lab/retriever mix like Bailey (my dog I had growing up) I'm sad that all my pics of her are on my parents desktop or printed. She was the best dog ever and I loved her.
9. I'm having issues transferring stuff from my old pc to my mac, so my library is pretty small, but here goes:
1-Tomorrow's Food-Incubus
2-Get Back in My Life-Maroon 5 (I don't like most of that album ha)
3-Hollywood (Africa)-Red Hot Chili Peppers
4-White Christmas-Allred
5-Life of Leaving Home-Yellowcard
6-Where You Are-Gavin DeGraw (he's not country. his piano skills rock)
7-If You Ever Come Back-The Script
8-Suppose-Secondhand Serenade (I got this album in a music exchange and I've since decided that Secondhand is a freaking whiner!)
9-Hold My Hand-Hootie and the Blowfish (Hootie is probably one of the biggest bands I remember growing up. My mom always listened to them/they were on the radio all the time. Gotta love the 90s :) )
10-Between the Lines-Sara Bareilles
