Hey everyone! Doesn't the week feel like it's going by super fast? I feel like tomorrow should be Friday! Anyway, today has been a good day!
I started out the day with a field trip with my little sister's class to the Natural History Museum at the U. I had to be on campus for school, so I figured I would run up and join them :)
Most of the pictures I took were of random things I found interesting or liked.
The museum was really fun! I need to go back when I have more time. This may sound geeky, (but I am a geek) I would totally go on a date there! What a unique date opportunity. It'd be cool to get away from the norm.
From there, I went to my job interview and it was basically the easiest interview I've ever been to. Before we even sat down, the guy was like, "The job is pretty much yours as long as you meet the criteria." He explained what I would be doing and then asked me if I wanted the job and I said yes! Pretty simple. I am a test proctor for the medical students. It's not very many hours, so I will still have to find something more on campus, but I feel like slowly but surely things are finally starting to go the way I want them to.
On my way home from school, I had a weird social interaction. I don't understand interactions in which the person I am talking to only wants to hear about my high school life. Little details here and there, I understand, but there are is so much more to life now, in the present! I'm not even the same person that I was in high school! I did try to get some stuff in about college, but then he went and sat in a different seat. Strange! Anyway, as me and this guy were talking (not about high school, go me), the guy in front of me turned around and said, "You said you went to CEU?" I told him yeah and then he told me that he was there a few weeks ago and went to the dinosaur museum. Then he asked me all about my experience there and it was so fun to talk to him about it! Small world. (and he looked a little bit like Matt from Boulder--that in itself is a good thing) Later, another guy told me that he had some friends in Price and how he likes it there. I love feel good stories about stuff like that. It made me smile :)
Ingrid announced tour dates today. SLC In The Venue April 19th. Yes!
life is good, friends.
xoxo,
ash
