nostalgia.

this week has been so nostalgic for me.

-passing by Lady of Lourdes (where I went to first grade) and Judge on my way to visit a friend in sugar house.
-driving by my old house in sh that's only a few blocks away from my friend's house. I wish I had a digital picture of it!
-walking in to the Park building on President's Circle (I'd never been there before) and having it be a spitting image of the main building of the Universidad de Oviedo! I miss that place. Terribly. Maybe when I get married, my husband will be a travel junkie (I hope he is!) and we can move there :) a girl can dream, right?
-driving past The Cathedral of the Madeleine when I was on S. Temple to go up to Bountiful to see the doc today. I remembered a field trip we took there to see the choir sing when I went to school at St. Olaf's.
-ending up at St. Olaf's today when I was actually in Bountiful.

gotta love reliving old memories! Not that I don't love my current stage of life, because I do, but I think that memories are very important and I'm glad I can have them.

haha ohhh man. One thing I forgot about living with roomies--guy drama! and it is in plentiful supply around here, let me tell ya! at least when I was at CEU, it was mostly a few guys. There are a bunch here.

oh and guess who just scored a copy of Ender's Game? This girl! I will be able to finish the last 90 pages that I didn't get to when I had to give the copy I was borrowing back to a friend. I had it for almost a year! oops!

score, man. good day for me! went to the doctor and my fingers are feeling a little bit better but I think I will start on the antibiotics tomorrow. I don't feel like waiting the pain out any longer. I spent almost a whole week thinking it would get better and it did not.

ps. Village Inn cheese fries are pretty delish :) We went there late tonight and it reminded me of late nights at JB's in Price my freshman year. Only I was a lot closer to those people and I miss them a lot. I feel like I have problems getting to know people and letting people in now. How do I fix it?!
