This year, there are so many things I want to do for fun around Christmas! It's making it hard for me to focus on my homework these days! My list is simple; I'm trying to take advantage of the small things and make lots of memories.
I absolutely love Christmas lights--I don't think I've ever seen a display I don't like! That is probably at the top of my list! but nothing else really has an order.
-Go around the neighborhood looking at lights :) I like this because it's free.
-Throw a fancy party
-wear some ugly sweaters
-eat at a taco stand in Salt Lake while it's snowing (minus the snowing, this is one my normal bucket list!)
-walks at night while it's snowing (I highly recommend that, it's so peaceful)
-apple cider from starbucks
-Christmas carolling
-watch holiday chick flicks
-Temple Square with friends
-make English toffee
-share cds of my favorite holiday songs! I love this one!
-the hayride through Layton park
-Temple Square with a date
-wear nicer and fancier and sparklier (I know that's not a word) Winter is always good for more sparkle!) clothes and jewelry for everyday stuff.
-start my birthday countdown on Dec. 8
-Allred's Christmas show Dec. 16
-learn how to knit flip-top mittens
-not kill the kids I work with before school lets out :)
-find random ways to keep myself busy when I don't have work for a few weeks after Dec 21
-go to Zumba! because I haven't had a ton of time to go lately. I seriously love it!
-finish my Christmas shopping around Dec 16 and wrap stuff so I can enjoy having presents under the tree.
-take lots of pictures :D because I never do, it's bad!
that's all I can think of right now.
What are some of your favorite holiday traditions/things you like to do around this time of year?? Please comment :)
