This weekend was really fun! I was able to have a friend with me at home, that was cool. And the weekend started early for me, woot!!
Thurs--I left Price at 6:45, Ally was supposed to drive up with me, but she slept in and didn't answer my calls, so I had to get out of town. She came up later though. Price canyon was terrible. It usually takes me 58 minutes to get to the windmills. This time it took me about an hour and 15 minutes. That wasn't cool. I got up to the campus at 10:27 and had an appointment at 10:30, but got lost with parking, so I was late :( Overall, I felt good about USU. BUT...I was expecting to have my decision of the U affirmed. That was the purpose of my visit, and it didn't end up happening. Hence, I am still deciding. This is riduculous. I want to know and get going with all the other things that happen when you pick a school. Finding a job, housing, student gov/other extracurricular options, that sort of thing. One good thing that came out of the visit was seeing my best friend! I love her! We had some awesome chats and laughs. Definitely needed that :)
Fri--Ally and I worked at the SL Sorenson office and we took early outs! Yay! Then we did some shopping in Bountiful. My family took us out for Coldstone. Yummmm. We went home and chilled--I know I was super tired because all the school crap was (and still is) weighing down on me in a bad way. ahhh I feel so anxious and I never feel that, so it's bizarre.
Sat--We went to the easter egg hunt with my sibs in my hometown. Fairly uneventful, except for when we were watching my brother in the 10-12 yr old group, and decided that we wanted one egg each. We figured it wouldn't hurt and neither of us had been easter egg hunting for YEARS! So we are standing there with our one egg each, and this little eleven or so yr old boy comes over and is like, "Hey! Can I have those eggs?" and this man in the crowd is like, "Hey bud, you have enough." The little boy mentioned something about needing a year supply. Kinda interesting. He then says, "Wait...I need those eggs--this is the 10-12 year old group! You guys look like you are 13!!" Oh.my.goodness. It was so funny. Hysterical, in fact. Needless to say, my family isn't going to let me live that one down for a long time! We saw "How to Train your Dragon." Surprisingly, I loved it! It was so cute. After that, we went to the U campus on Frontrunner and Trax. {Oh, how I love mass public transportation} Seriously, I could utilize it every day. Plus, it's a lot better for the environment than all those individual cars emitting a lot more crap into the environment. Love it. That's one benefit the U has over USU. Anyway, it was a Saturday, so there wasn't much going on, but it was good to walk around on the campus up there. I see myself at the U a lot more than I do at USU, but I am still not sure about it. I am getting a blessing for it, hopefully some time this week. I KNOW that will help me to be more sensitive to the promptings of the Spirit that I may be missing/not paying enough attention to right now. Ahhh...all this school talk haha. We went to the mall in Layton when we got back, and ate dinner at Costa Vida. So chill, I needed that day for sure!
Sun--EASTER! I was bummed that we had to leave so early (10:30), because we had to work in Price at 1:00. We hunted for our easter baskets, yay! and we also ate a DELISH breakfast of strawberry french bread french toast with yummy syrup, bacon, oj, choco milk, etc. I don't like breakfast food normally, but this is a breakfast meal I love to eat! mmmm food. The drive sucked and i was four minutes late to work. After work, I visited with my Gami. I love her. And my gramps too. I'm so sad to leave them here in Price. I visited them the day before I left for Logan, and I cried when I left their house. I think it's hitting me harder now that I am almost done with school here. I am used to seeing them whenever I feel like, and have gotten so close over the past two years. It's going to be soooo hard to leave for the summer and NoT come back next year. And I thought leaving for last summer was bad. Ugghhhh. Not looking forward to May 1st because of that. That's the only setback--really.
Misc:
I need a freaking date for the inaug. ball for student gov. I want to ask {Sony} (code name haha), but I am chicken. I wish I wasn't. hahah. I almost did it the other day when we were talking, but I got too nervous. So stupid of me!
My right hand HURTS! Really bad. My job consists of typing, but it's really not a lot. So I wonder why I only really notice my hand pain at work?? I hate it. There's sometimes pressure, temp. changes and tingling. That's so stupid. It makes work soooo long. I don't want to have to go to the doctor. ewww.
I need to figure out how to upload phone pics to blogger. That's the only way I could document this weekend in pictures.
I think that's about all. Loves.
