Freshman year is OvEr!!!!

Wow, I can't believe it!! My freshman year of college is officially over! I am still in Price for a few days (for student govt. stuff), but I had my last final today at one. I was relieved when I took it into Corey's (the teacher) office--it was a take home exam. There is a lot of things from the last week that I need to write about. Where to start??...so Friday (a week ago today), I got a call saying that I made student government! I am an events director and I am so excited to be involved this way. I've been trying for a while to make it on to student government, and I finally achieved it--I think that's pretty cool, but maybe not to others. Whatever. There are a few summer leadership conferences that I will have to go to and I think they will be really great. One is this next Monday and Tuesday at Ceu. The next one, called Utah Leadership Academy is in late May at Weber State University. I will have to come down for school a week before it starts in August so I can help with freshmen orientations and other things. I'm stoked--it's going to be so awesome!!!
Secondly, I need to talk about this last week with school and stuff (hence the title of this post haha). Monday was really stressful and it wasn't an actual final day. Crazy huh?? For my Philosophy of Religion class, I had a study guide for a book that wasn't too long but I had a hard time keeping with it. I had a take home exam that was worth 200 point--youch!!! Finally, I had a 150 point presentation that day as well. Needless to say, I was relieved and back to my happy self when it was over. Tuesday was a great day for studying and packing. I didn't have any tests so it was a chill day. I hung out with my roommates and we went to the free institute dinners that they had all week--yum!! Kaitlyn (one of my roommates) and I went to this really cool stream that she found while she was out on a drive. It was so peaceful and serene!! I would love to take a date there ;) Wednesday, I had my computer final and it was a lot better than I thought it would be!!! I was so happy when it was over because i thought it was going to be beastly hard. Thursday, I worked on my film final and went to my final leadership class. We had to do a group presentation--the teacher liked ours, that's a bonus!!
Wow, that is a lot of stuff to cover--sorry for the novel but it felt to get it all out and reflect on it. Some crazy fun things have happened this year and I definitely have learned a lot about myself, building strong relationships with others and how to make decisions for myself! I like the changes that I see for the most part :) I am excited for the summer and working--I called my boss at Old Navy and he seemed really pleased to hear that I am coming back. I love it there!
Well, I have a lot more time now and I deleted my facebook account, so more blogs about random things to come...stay posted!
